MONDI am aware that a number of local authorities, in addition 1033W to Northampton, are at present considering the question of erecting houses without financial assistance from the Government, and I have expressed my readiness to give favourable consideration to such proposals. Definite particulars as to the estimated cost of the houses and the rents proposed to be charged are not yet available.
