§ Major GLYNasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any arrangements have been made at various ports in Ireland to provide accommodation— for persons forced by circumstances to leave their houses and possessions in Ireland and seek refuge in Great Britain; whether there is any difficulty experienced by such persons in obtaining passages from Irish to British ports; and, if so, whether steps can be taken to ensure that on stated days, suitably advertised, adequate railings will be arranged from certain ports conveniently situated?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, and in reply to the second part I have no information to the effect suggested. The third part, therefore, would not appear to arise.
