Captain BENNasked the President of the Board of Education whether, in view of the information given by the Tottenham Education Committee, subsequent to their deputation on 6th November, with regard to the proposed school for physically defective children in their area, he can give permission to the Tottenham Education Committee to open the school in question of the economical lines proposed by this committee, in view of the fact that there is no such school in Tottenham, although there are 135 crippled children of school age in the district?
Mr. WOODThe educational provision required for defective children of all types is a matter which I have under close investigation at the present time.
