§ Mr. RAINEasked the Attorney-General if, in view of the protests from the several municipalities in the County of Durham, and also from the county council, regarding the proposed removal of the assizes from Durham to Newcastle, the chairman of the committee appointed to inquire 2048W into the whole question will have an opportunity of hearing evidence from representatives of these authorities?
