§ Mr. BALDWINExcluding the Corn Repeal moneys and a gift of £10,000 from the Red Cross, the balance on the Development Fund available for the general purposes of the Development and Road Improvement Funds Act, 1909, now stands at £423,000, including cash and investments at cost price. The whole of this sum is expected to be required to meet existing commitments of the Development Commissioners before the end of the financial year 1923–24.
