§ Sir J. REMNANTasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the names of the experts who advised the Disposal Board in September, 1921, to sell the entire stock of scrap metal to the British Metal Corporation?
§ Mr. BALDWINThe stock of scrap brass metal was "sold after competition, and after the whole of the relevant factors had been considered by the Disposal Board. I would remind my hon. Friend that the Disposal Board had previously made large similar sales of brass scrap amounting to about £0,000,000 over a period of two years, and were in a position to deal with the matter without the, advice of other experts. The constitution of the Board will, I think, be sufficient to satisfy my hon. Friend on this point.
