§ Sir P. LLOYD-GREAMEI am not yet in a position to state the numbers of furnaces in blast at the end of November as compared with the end of October. At the end of October, 151 furnaces were in blast in the United Kingdom out of a total of 487, leaving 336 cold at that date as compared with 109 in blast out of 221 in France and 33 out of a total of 54 in Belgium. I am unable to give any particulars with regard to Germany.
