HC Deb 04 December 1922 vol 159 cc1233-4W
Sir W. de FRECE

asked the Minister of Pensions exactly what cases are being handled by his Department at the present time: whether any claims for pension are being dealt with either by the War Office or by the Admiralty: and, if so of what nature?

Major TRYON

Under the War Pen-ions Act, 1920, the Ministry of Pensions is concerned only with the grant and administration of pensions and allowances in respect of disablement and death arising out of the Great War and out of former wars. The Admiralty, War Office and Air Ministry deal with all other classes of naval, military and Air Force pensions, such as service pensions and peace-time disability pensions.
