§ Sir A. MONDThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. As regards the second part, I would refer to my answer to a question by the hon. Member for Middlesbrough (Mr. T. Thomson) on the 25th July, and would add that the Government have in mind a programme of relief works under subsidy which should be of material assistance.
