Mr. MACLEANasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether he is aware that instructions have been issued at Aldershot stating that only men who have served with the Royal Engineers are to be eligible for employment under the control of the Royal Engineers Department; who issued the instructions; by whose authority they were issued; and whether, if such instructions have been issued, this will exclude from employment men who have hitherto been employed there for many years and who are at present unemployed?
