§ Mr. NEALThe final figures for the cost of collection, chargeable against the Road Fund, in respect of the year 1921, are not yet available. The total cost of collection will undoubtedly be highest in the registration area of the London County Council. The number of licences issued by that council (excluding drivers' 2455W licences) up to the 31st December, 1921, was 137,453.
