§ Sir A. MONDThe housing schemes of local authorities and the builders' subsidy scheme provide for 218,000 houses. Of these, 120,000 have already been completed. There remain some 98,000 to be finished, and I hope that a large proportion will be completed during the coming year. I have no information as to the number of applications received by local authorities.
