§ Sir P. LLOYD-GREAMEI am aware of the position referred to in the first part of the question. My Department is doing all it can to bring trade openings in the Serb-Croat-Slovene Kingdom to the notice of United Kingdom firms, and is giving all possible help in efforts to secure business for this country. The Serb-Croat-Slovene State has been included in the scope of the export credits scheme since its inception, and I hope the extension of the facilities now provided for under the scheme may assist British firms to meet German competition in that area.
