§ Mr. A. SHORTasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether there is a possibility of orders being placed for locomotives for Nigeria and other Colonies; and, if so, whether he will do his utmost to help in the placing of these orders in this country?
Mr. WOODThe answer to the first part of the hon. Member's question is in the affirmative. The hon. Member may rest assured that my right hon. Friend will do his utmost, consistent with the interests of the Colonies concerned, to secure the placing of the orders in question, in this country.
