HC Deb 31 May 1921 vol 142 cc843-4W
Sir R. BLADES

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the serious consequences of the proposed increases in postage rates to British trade generally, and especially to the printing trade, and the inevitable resulting increase of unemployment, he will either arrange for the Post Office Estimates to be put down before 13th June or else afford the House some other opportunity of discussing the changes before their introduction?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

It is hoped that the discussion on the Post Office Estimates will take place on Thursday, 9th June, when an opportunity will be provided for discussing the proposed changes.
