HC Deb 24 May 1921 vol 142 c60W
Sir J. BUTCHER

asked the Chief Secretary who is responsible for the proper care and preservation of the shot-guns and other firearms which have been taken by the Irish Government from loyal subjects for safe custody; and whether he can give an assurance that these firearms are being properly looked after and preserved from deterioration?

Sir H. GREENWOOD

The responsibility rests with the Irish Government. The firearms in question are being carefully looked after, and all possible steps are being taken to prevent their deterioration.
