§ Mr. CHARLES EDWARDSasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the danger of single-line railway working, as exemplified in the recent disaster, he will consider the advisability of taking measures to secure the laying of a double track wherever passenger trains are run?
§ Mr. A. NEALI cannot accept as correct the suggestion that single-line working is dangerous, provided, of course, that the regulations governing such working are observed. It is quite impracticable to adopt the suggestion made by my hon. Friend.
