HC Deb 03 March 1921 vol 138 cc2051-2W
Mr. STANTON

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware of the character of the printed matter sent through the post to Members of Parliament and others by some persons whose names never appear; that a translated article from the "Die Tagliche Randschau," Berlin, 1st November, 1920, is being sent to Members of the House and 1,000 marks offered by the editor for the best translation of Henry Labouchere's poem entitled, "Where is the Flag of England"; and will he take steps to prevent such documents passing through the post?

Mr. PEASE

I should be obliged if the hon. Member would send me the envelope in which the document in question was enclosed, when I shall be able to inform him whether it is practicable to interfere.
