§ Mr. HENRYIt is not true to say that Dingle Peninsula and parts of West Kerry have been cut off by the Crown Forces from communication with the East of Ireland as far as the supply of food is concerned. This district is mainly agricultural and pastoral, and its isolation would not, therefore, be likely to result in any food shortage, but, in any case, I am informed that there has been no embargo on the importation of foodstuffs.
