§ Mr. HANCOCKasked the Minister of Labour whether he has been urged by various societies of employers to close down the Department of Director of Building Material Supplies; and whether there is any intention on the part of the Government to close this Department down?
§ Dr. ADDISONI have been asked to answer this question. I have recently received a few representations to this effect. With regard to the future of the Department of Building Materials Supply, I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given on the 22nd February to the hon. Member for Lincoln (Mr. A. T. Davies).
