HC Deb 21 June 1921 vol 143 cc1126-7W
Captain W. BENN

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been drawn to the representation of the Chief Native Commissioner of Southern Rhodesia upon the importance of dealing with the question of the acquisition of land by natives contiguous to the reserves and in suitable localities; and whether he will consider the advisability of referring this matter to Earl Buxton's Committee for consideration and report?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The recommendation referred to has been brought to my notice. Lord Buxton's Committee has now completed its reports, but the general question involved is receiving consideration.
