§ Mr. MURCHISONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of his statement that all businesses should pay Excess Profits Duty over a period of seven years, he will allow businesses who made up their accounts half-yearly to 30th June and 31st December, and had in consequence only paid from 1st July, 1914, onwards, to now pay on the first half of 1914 instead of being liable for the present six months?
