THOMSONasked the Minister of Health if he has in any way reduced the standards required for houses erected under his various housing schemes; and if representations are made to him to this effect will he satisfy himself that his original standards are in excess of the requirements of good health before consenting to reduce them in any way?
§ Dr. ADDISONThe standard required for houses as shown in the Ministry's book of type plans has not been relaxed in any way. Any proposals for modifications from these standards would certainly need to be considered fully from the health point of view.
