Colonel NEWMANasked the Minister of Health whether, before the Bill presented this Session by the Metropolitan Water Board is allowed to become law, he will have an inquiry made on behalf of 975W the ratepayers and taxpayers of the Metropolitan district into the present high administrative expenses of the Board and ascertain what economies can be effected?
§ Dr. ADDISONPerhaps I may refer my hon. Friend to the reply to a similar question in October last, of which I will send him a copy. If he will refer to paragraph 11 of the Report of the Departmental Committee he will see that the Committee dealt with the question of the administration of the Water Board.
