HC Deb 22 February 1921 vol 138 cc791-2W
Sir F. HALL

asked the Home Secretary whether the non-tariff offices are desirous of having a representative on the Royal Commission to inquire into fire losses; and if, considering the importance of these organisations, he can see his way to grant this request?

Mr. SHORTT

I regret that, owing to the need of keeping the numbers of the Commission within due limits, I cannot advise His Majesty to appoint any further representative of insurance interests. The non-tariff offices will, of course, be given full opportunity of laying their views before the Commission in evidence.
