HC Deb 17 February 1921 vol 138 cc282-3W
Sir A. SPROT

asked the Secretary of State for War if he will take steps to secure the payment of the sum of £68 7s. l½d., due to Company Sergeant-Major John O. Ramsay, D.C.M., No. 48,496, late of 88th Field Company, Koyal Engineers, who surrendered his pay book (A.B. 64) at Kinross when he was demobilised in April, 1919, having served in Egypt, Gallipoli, and Mesopotamia, and the paymaster at Chatham having disallowed the above amount owing to absence of pay book?

Sir A. WILLIAMSON

I am making inquiries into this case, and will let the hon. and gallant Member know the result as soon as possible.
