HC Deb 17 February 1921 vol 138 c316W
Mr. W. GRAHAM

asked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been called to the fact that at the Employment Exchanges in Edinburgh unemployment donation to painters has been seriously delayed in payment; that this is attributed to delay in receiving the necessary authority from London; that in consequence unemployed painters are suffering much hardship; and whether he will give instructions immediately authorising the payment of the allowance?

Dr. MACNAMARA

I am having enquiry made into this matter, and will communicate the result to my hon. Friend in the course of a few days.
