asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number, rank, and total emoluments of those British officers who are at present supervising the three ships which constitute the remains of the Austrian naval fleet?

The number of vessels of the Austrian naval fleet is 173. Only a small proportion of these have yet been disposed of. The officers of the Naval Inter-Allied Commission of Control for Austria, whose duties include the disposal of these 173 ships, consist of:—

1 Rear-Admiral,

1 Commander,

1 Paymaster-Lieutenant,

1 Acting Lieutenant-Commander.

The expenses of their pay and allowances are borne by the Austrian Government.
