§ Major NALLasked the Minister of Pensions the reason for the delay in a case brought to the notice of the secretary, Chelsea Hospital, by letter on 24th September last, receipt of which was acknowledged on 4th October under Ref. A6,847, R15, R.H.C.
§ Mr. CHURCHILLMy right hon. Friend has asked me to reply. I am informed that the case referred to is an application for a service pension. Certain documents relating to the man's service are at present with the Ministry 667W of Pensions, and as soon as these are returned the Commissioners of Chelsea Hospital will be in a position to deal with the application. I regret the delay, and steps have already been taken to expedite the matter.
