Commander LOCKER - LAMPSONasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture whether he will issue a list of the sums spent on the purchase and hire of land under the recent Land Settlement Act, giving the amounts spent by each county upon the hiring of land, land purchase, buildings, etc., under their respective heads?
Sir A. BOSCAWENI regret that I am not in a position to supply the information desired by my hon. and gallant Friend at the present time. Detailed particulars will, however, be obtained from each county council at the end of the current year, and will be published as part of the Ministry's annual report to Parliament.
