THOMASasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that district and rural councils have not the power to compel a builder who intends to erect a domestic building to provide two separate entrances and for such entrances to allow of admission to every room in the building; and whether he will introduce legislation to meet this difficulty?
§ Dr. ADDISONI am aware that local authorities have not this power, and I am afraid I cannot introduce legislation for the purpose of giving them this power at the present time.
