GEDDESThe railway companies for some years before the War stipulated as one of the conditions of carriage that any claim for non-delivery878W of goods must be made within 14 days of the date of despatch. This condition, along with others, is under consideration by the Rates Advisory Committee, evidence having been heard in regard thereto from the railway companies and the traders.
