§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe men referred to were assigned to work of National importance and given an Exemption Certificate from Military Service. The majority of them were placed in Classes B. and W. of the Reserve. Their discharge from the respective classes must be dependent on the final ratification of Peace Treaties with all the belligerent Powers. The discharge will be effected through notices in the public Press.
