§ Mr. T. DAVIESasked the President of the Board of Trade what action he proposes to take to ensure reasonable supplies of coal to East Gloucestershire, seeing that nothing is being done, although schools are closed for want of fuel, as he was warned would be the case?
§ Mr. BRIDGEMANArrangements have been made for sending forward emergency supplies to meet the difficulties which have arisen in the area referred to. The delay in removing the trouble has been partly caused by one of the local merchants declining to accept a portion of the regular allocation which had been assigned to him, but I understand that this difficulty has now been overcome.
