§ Mr. MYERSasked the Minister of Health if he has any information in respect of the erection of a distillery at Dalnaine, in Scotland; whether he is aware that such undertaking is in course of construction; that 200 men are employed upon the building, and have been" since May, 1919; that the men thus employed are being housed in Army huts adjacent to the site, and that another distillery owned by the same company is in existence close at hand and not working; and if he will take ail necessary steps to ensure that the men and materials now being utilised in the erection of the distillery are diverted to the erection of houses?
§ Mr. MUNROAccording to the information before me, the re-erection of Dalnaine Distillery, which was burnt down, was practically finished in November last only 20 men are now employed on engineering work, and the Army hut2402W have been removed. The other distillery referred to is stated to be working. In these circumstances, the last part of the question does not arise.
