§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHOf the 2s. 6d. per ounce collected as special Air Mail fee on each outgoing letter, 2s. is paid over to the Contractors, and 6d. is retained by the Post Office to cover its expenses. I am unable to state the financial effect of the service so far as the contractors are concerned.
