HC Deb 28 June 1920 vol 131 c60W

Lieut.-Colonel RAW asked the Minister of Health if, having regard to the serious position of the voluntary hospitals throughout the country and the consequent prejudicial effect on the national health, he will consider the desirability of appointing a Select Committee of the House to consider what steps, if any, can be taken by Parliament to relieve this serious situation until the new scheme for health services is considered?

Dr. ADDISON: No, Sir. I do not consider that at this stage the appointment of a Select Committee is desirable.
