§ Mr. ALFRED DAVIES (Clitheroe)asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that, in consequence of the high rate of unemployment in Chatham, the Chatham and District Trades Council appointed a Committee to inquire into the discharges from the Chatham Dockyard; and whether he will receive a deputation from this body in order that they may put before him the results of their investigations?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThe Admiralty are doing everything possible in regard to this matter, and I understand that my Noble Friend the Civil Lord of the Admiralty is willing to receive a deputation from Chatham on the subject
