§ Colonel ASHLEYasked the Minister of Food if he is aware that when it was decided to combine the Pontypool and Panteg and the Abersychan and Blaenavon food districts for purposes of economy, the executive officer of the former, an old soldier, who had served with distinction during the War, was 1101W given notice, and the position bestowed upon a man of military age who had not served during the War; whether this action is in direct conflict with the policy of the Government; and, if so, whether he will see that the matter is reconsidered?
