asked the First Commissioner of Works what is the estimated total cost of the repairs to Westminster Hall; when was this work commenced and by what date is it expected to be completed; how many persons are employed on this work; and what is the total monthly cost of salaries and wages?

The estimated total cost of the repairs is £120,000. The work was commenced in July, 1914, and it is hoped that it will be completed in the spring of 1922. The number of persons employed daily varies from 39 to 45, and the average monthly cost of salaries and wages is approximately £700.
