SMITHasked the Prime Minister when the repatriation of the 1314W German prisoners of war in French hands will be completed, and whether, in view of the fact that Great Britain is one of the signatories to the Peace Treaty, he will make representations to the French Government urging the speedy repatriation of all prisoners of war?
§ Sir H. GREENWOODThis is entirely a matter for the French Government. His Majesty's Government have no reason to suppose that these prisoners will not be repatriated at as early a date as conditions of transport permit.
