§ Mr. SHORTTIt is not the case, as suggested by the hon. Member for St. Pancras, that places of amusement are free to sell sweets at hours when shops are prohibited from selling. I have been 1087W asked by representatives of the entertainments industry to permit them to sell sweets after the present closing hour for shops, but I am not yet in a position to give a decision in the matter.
