§ Sir J. CRAIGThe appointments to the official side of the Departmental Whitley Council are entirely within the discretion of my right hon. Friend, who cannot give any such assurance as is asked for in this Question. I should perhaps add that there is no member of the staff who is officially designated the chief woman officer of the Ministry.
