§ Mr. GRIFFITHSasked the Postmaster General whether it has recently been decided at Exeter that war bonus is part of wages for a day of leave; whether, in 250W the case of the special sections, full civil pay was held not to include war bonus; and whether he will have these decisions reviewed with the object of bringing them into line;
§ Mr. PEASEIt is the fact that war bonus is paid during periods of leave to officers normally entitled to it. This does not appear to me to have any bearing on the case of the men of the special sections, to whom no war bonus has ever been awarded.
