§ Viscount WOLMERasked the Minister of Food whether any impediment is placed by the Ministry of Food to the sale of small quantities of malt to cottagers for the brewing of their own beer; and whether, in view of the hardship caused by the difficulty now experienced by cottagers in obtaining their own supply of malt, he will take steps to facilitate the sale of malt in small quantities to individuals?
§ Mr. McCURDYThere are no restrictions on the sale or purchase of malt imposed by the Ministry of Food, and the Ministry has received no complaint of any difficulties experienced by cottagers in obtaining supplies.
