HC Deb 30 April 1920 vol 128 cc1593-4W
Colonel ROUNDELL

asked the Secretary of State for War and Air whether he will consider the question of granting the General Service Medal to the permanent staff of special reserve battalions, under the same conditions as it has been awarded to coastguards, anti-aircraft, and naval ratings, who have been compelled by the nature of their duties to remain in this country during the War?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to my replies on the 20th and 26th April to the hon. and gallant Member for Bury St. Edmunds (Lieut.-Colonel W. Guinness).
