HC Deb 28 April 1920 vol 128 cc1250-1W
Mr. W. CARTER

asked the Secretary of State for War and Air whether any assistance by means of military missions or the provision of money, ammunition, or supplies is still being given to the anti-Soviet forces under General Wrangel?

Mr. CHURCHILL

No fresh consignment of ammunition or war material is being sent to the anti-Soviet forces under General Wrangel, but such stores as are on the spot, which had been destined for General Denikin, are being put at his disposal. No money or supplies are being given to him by the War Office. As regards missions, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given to the hon. Member for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy) on the 20th April.
