§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHThe memorial to which the hon. Member refers asked for a general reorganisation of the draughtsmen's classes in the Post Office with substantial improvements in their scales of pay. The questions raised were discussed with representatives of the staff some time ago, but it was impossible to reach a decision without making certain inquiries which are now nearing completion. I hope that it will be possible to settle the matter soon.
