Mr. MACLEANasked the Secretary for Scotland whether he is now in a position to state the result of his consideration of the Report from the Sheriff in connection with the case of two Swedes who were sentenced in Leith to six months' imprisonment for being in possession of pamphlets alleged to advocate Bolshevism; and whether, in view of the probability of these two Swedes being unaware of the Defence of the Realm Regulations under which they were convicted and of the fact that none of the pamphlets had been distributed, he will have them released?
