§ Mr. SHORTTI have repeatedly considered this question but, much as I sympathise with the pensioners who, like others dependent on small fixed incomes, are greatly affected by present conditions, I regret I do not see my way to propose legislation in order to give relief to the particular class of pensioners in whom the hon. Member is interested.
